Job summary

Health Connect America seeks a licensed Clinician to provide high-quality behavioral health services to children, families, and adults. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy in a multidisciplinary setting.

Role emphasizes crisis intervention, documentation, and coordination with healthcare teams. A Florida license and experience with children/families are required, with varied program responsibilities and community outreach

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
• Current Florida credential as RMHCI, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW required.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children and/or families, including internships and volunteer experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize standardized tools to identify client needs and inform treatment planning.
• Develop treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with individuals, families, and treatment team members.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions for various mental health concerns.
• Monitor client progress, maintain contact and follow-up, adjust plans as needed, and coordinate referrals to additional resources.

As a Therapist at Health Connect America, you’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health services while utilizing your professional licensure to support exceptional clinical outcomes. Through assessment, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and collaboration, you’ll help clients navigate challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

What You’ll Do

As a Therapist II, you’ll provide comprehensive behavioral health services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure individuals receive the support they need to achieve their goals. Day to day, you can expect to

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize standardized tools to identify client needs, establish diagnoses when appropriate, and inform individualized treatment planning
• Develop treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives in collaboration with individuals, families, and treatment team members
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions that address mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral disorders, and other emotional challenges
• Monitor client progress, maintain consistent contact and follow-up, adjust treatment plans as needed, and coordinate referrals to additional resources and support services
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and coordination with emergency resources when necessary to ensure client safety and continuity of care
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with all payer, regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and organizational requirements

This role is ideal for licensed clinicians who are passionate about providing high-quality therapeutic services and helping individuals achieve meaningful change. You’ll work closely with clients, families, schools, healthcare providers, and community resources to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care.

As a fully licensed clinician, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to clinical excellence while maintaining professional standards and supporting organizational goals. Depending on location and program needs, you may also participate in outreach activities, referral development, and care coordination efforts that support whole-person wellness.

For clinicians providing services in North Carolina, responsibilities may include integrated care activities such as health promotion, care coordination, transitional care management, and connection to community resources.

We welcome candidates who bring strong clinical expertise and meet the following qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
• Current Florida credential as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI), LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children and/or families, including internships and volunteer experience

Additional Qualifications

• Experience conducting assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapy services
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health treatment models, trauma-informed care, and best practices in mental health services
• Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while managing a diverse caseload
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required for community-based service delivery, when applicable
