Job summary

Recreate Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy for individuals with substance use disorders. You will work with a treatment team to formulate Master Treatment Plans, coordinate discharge planning, and deliver crisis intervention and psychoeducation.

Requirements include a Master's in social work, psychology, or related field and current Ohio LPC/LPCC/LSW/LISW/LMFT licenses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology or related human services field.
• Current license in OH: LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW or LMFT.
• Minimum of 1 year of addiction counseling experience.
• Knowledge of ethics and professional standards.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices.
• Understanding of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality and privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open communication with facility staff, attending clinicians, physicians, clients and families.
• Liaise with community agencies, vendors and payers of health services.
• Review assessments from referring facilities and note problems/issues needing attention.
• Gather comprehensive diagnostic information via psychosocial assessment interview.
• Develop an Integrated Summary identifying treatment-impact areas.
• Present psychosocial and diagnostic information to the treatment team clearly.

We are seeking a highly qualified Mental Health Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals facing substance use disorders, providing compassionate individual, group, and family therapy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize crisis intervention services, deliver informative psychoeducation presentations, and facilitate experiential learning groups. Alongside our experienced treatment team, you will assist in formulating the Master Treatment Plan and coordinating discharge planning. Responsibilities:

• Maintain open communication with facility staff, attending clinicians, physicians, clients, and families

• Gather comprehensive diagnostic information through psychosocial assessment interview
• Develop an Integrated Summary, bringing together information from all assessments to identify problem areas that may affect treatment and/or need to be addressed in treatment planning
• Develop a comprehensive problem list that reflects client's individual issues as described in the assessments and Integrated Summary
• Present psychosocial and diagnostic information to treatment team in a clear, concise manner

Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work, psychology or related human services field
• Current license as an LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW or LMFT in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of one year of experience in addiction counseling
• Knowledge of ethics and professional standards
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices
