Job summary
Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) in Minnesota seeks a Mental Health Therapist (LICSW, LP, LMFT, LPCC) to provide psychotherapy to adults facing diverse mental health challenges, including SPMI, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, dementia, and complex medical issues.
You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based therapy, collaborate with medical teams, and travel to medical and community settings to reach clients who cannot access
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- Active Minnesota license as an LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work with diverse and older populations.
- Commitment to culturally responsive care and integrated health models.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy and mental health interventions.
- Travel to various medical and community settings to reach clients who may have barriers to accessing traditional in-office care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
