Elizabeth Layton Center provides outpatient mental health services to Paola, KS, and surrounding areas. This role focuses on assessment and treatment for adults and children with mental health and substance use concerns, within a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualified candidates will bring licensure eligibility in Kansas, with preference for LSCSW, LP, or LCPC, and will contribute to delivering comprehensive care and maintaining strong documentation and confidentiality.

• Must meet minimum qualifications to practice outpatient mental health therapy in Kansas.
• Clinical licensure is preferred (LSCSW, LP, LCPC).
• Candidates must be able to pass all required background checks.

• Develop initial assessments and formulating treatment plans.
• Conduct a variety of treatment approaches including group, individual, and family therapy.
• Prepare reports.

• Meet deadlines for daily paperwork and reports.

• Comply with ELC policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Elizabeth Layton Center is seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient services to the community of Paola, KS. Qualified candidates will possess the minimum academic credentials and licensure that qualify for Medicaid reimbursement in the state of Kansas, with preference given to those clinically licensed (LSCSW, LP, LCPC).

Summary

ELC's Mental Health Therapist will provide assessment and treatment services to adults and children for both mental health and substance abuse clients.
