Job summary

CVS Health's Minute Clinic is seeking licensed clinical therapists to support patients 13+ remotely, 20-40 hours weekly. You will provide psychosocial support using evidence-based therapies and collaborate with our clinical care team to extend access to care within communities.

Applicants must hold an active LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or LMFT in at least one US state and be willing to obtain additional licensure where needed.

Qualifications

• Current active state license as LCSW/LPC/LMHC/LMFT with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Proven diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning and short-term counseling skills using evidence-based modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote psychosocial therapy to patients aged 13+ (20–40 hours/week).
• Develop and implement treatment plans and conduct counseling sessions.
• Document care plans and progress in the EHR; coordinate with the clinical care team.

This is a 20-40 hour/week, fully remote position supporting patients 13 years and older. Ideal candidate must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in one or more U.S. states. Must also be willing to obtain additional state licensure.

Required Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Must also be willing to obtain additional state licenses based on business needs.
• Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and team skills.
• Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery.
• Proven deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on multiple platforms.
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance, Medicaid, Medicare billing requirements.
• Evidence of strong crisis intervention skills.
• Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting.

Education

• Completed Master's degree program from an accredited College or University.
• State License with one or more of the following credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$26.01 - $74.78

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
