Pinnacle Behavioral Healthcare in Minnesota seeks licensed Mental Health Therapists (LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD) to contract or be employed. Contractors set their own schedules, market themselves, and manage their patient caseload while benefiting from Pinnacle's infrastructure and referral network.

Employees can be Part-Time, Full-Time, or Hybrid. Responsibilities include conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions, developing personalized treatment plans, utilizing CBT

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid and current state licensure as an independent Mental Health Therapist.
• Experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with CBT and crisis intervention techniques.
• Telehealth experience preferred.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention.
• Participate in care coordination with medication providers.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in Pinnacle's EHR system and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide support for patients dealing with addiction, grief, and trauma-related issues.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychotherapy.
• Participate in case management and intake assessments.
• Proactively market yourself to build and sustain your caseload.

Mental Health Therapist Qualifications

• Knowledge of addiction or trauma counseling is a plus.
