Job Summary

The Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing exceptional clinical services to children, adolescents and/or adults, as assigned, to help Josselyn achieve its vision of Mental health for all. The clinician is held accountable for all related clinical, administrative, quality and compliance responsibilities.

Compensation

$50,000–$60,000 salary with a $5,000 sign‑on bonus paid after successful completion of 90 daysas determined by the department head and hiring manager with consideration to licensure and experience.

Schedule

Mon/Tue/Wed 11 AM - 9 PM and Thursday 11 AM - 8 PM (4 day work week)

OR

Tuesday - Saturday, 2 day shifts (9 AM - 5 PM or 10 AM - 6 PM , 2 evening shifts (11 AM - 7 PM or 12 PM - 9 PM) and Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

• Provides high-quality, evidenced-based services including therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and client‑centered consultation to a variety of populations from children/adolescents to adults and families
• Maintains direct service hours per month of 63% as measured by billable clinical services including sessions, consultations, assessments, and case management
• Maintains timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, case management activities, consultations, and discharge documentation.
• Ensure documentation is completed within 72 hours from the date of service
• Creates IMCANS Assessment within 30 days of initial meeting with client and modifies/reviews as needed
• Keeps EMR calendar, and any other primary sources, up to date
• Coordinates care with other clinical staff including internal and external providers
• Attends and participates at clinical presentations and all required meetings
• Is responsive to all outreach and coordination regarding client fees/payments
• Participates in Accreditation and Certification processes, Committee Work, Strategic Planning, and Community Related Services as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Clinically related graduate degree, including a Master’s in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work or a degree which qualifies for a QMHP in the state of Illinois required
• Actively working towards licensure as an LCPC or LCSW preferred but not required
• Three professional references that reflect ability to perform clinical work
