Job summary

Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient therapy program for seniors, seeks a licensed social work or counseling professional in Bad Axe, MI. The role involves collaborating with a small team to deliver group therapy, individual sessions, and family therapy as needed.

You will develop treatment plans with the team, document per Medicare guidelines, and participate in community education—working Monday through Friday with no on-call obligations.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Social Work or Counseling license as recognized by the state (LMSW/LLMSW/LPC/LLPC/LMFT)
• Experience with Medicare guidelines and documenting accordingly
• Commitment to compassionate care with kindness and accountability

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small disciplinary team providing services to seniors

• Provide compliant documentation per Medicare guidelines within designated time frames
• Deliver group therapy as the main modality and include individual sessions and family therapy as needed

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator providing services to the senior population
• Use evidenced based therapeutic approaches and develop, personalize, and update treatment plans with your team
• Provide compliant documentation based on Medicare guidelines within a designated time-frame
• Our main focus is utilizing group therapy but also include:
• Individual sessions
• Family therapy (as needed)
• Assist with local community education
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Licensure: License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state; LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC or LMFT – required
