Job summary

Bellevue Trauma Recovery Center seeks licensed mental health therapists to provide individual, group, and couples therapy to clients in our programs. The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with two days a week at our Bellevue office, competitive pay, and access to a supportive community of clinicians.

This position begins part-time with a 90-day plan to build a sustainable caseload and transition to full-time with benefits based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Master's level degree in a mental health-related field.
• 2+ years of experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to individuals across the lifespan.
• Valid Washington state license (LMHC, LMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA, LPsy) and maintenance of licensure.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retain a minimum of 25 clients per week.
• Conduct intake assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group and/or couples counseling sessions with evidence-based interventions.
• Participate in intensive programming and facilitate group therapy with clinical staff.
• Develop measurable therapy goals and document services promptly.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff while adhering to ethical standards.
• Handle administrative tasks including client paperwork, meetings, training, and content creation for operations and intake.

Job Description:

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join our team at the BTRC. As one of our therapists, you will play a vital role in providing individual, group and couples therapy to clients enrolled in our programs. This position offers a flexible hybrid working schedule with 2 days a week at our Bellevue office, competitive pay, and access to a supportive and collaborative community of clinicians.

Job Structure: Part-Time to Full-Time Growth Opportunity

This position begins part-time, with a structured 90-day period to build and establish a sustainable caseload. Our goal is to transition the successful candidate to a full-time role with benefits following the initial 90 days.

BTRC provides marketing, referral generation, and intake support to help you grow your practice. Transition to full-time employment is based on your ability to build and maintain the expected caseload of 25–34 client sessions per week, overall performance, and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Retain a minimum of 25 clients per week.
• Conduct intake assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group and/or couples counseling sessions to clients, utilizing empirically supported therapeutic interventions.
• Participate in BTRC intensive programming as needed, facilitating group therapy sessions in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Develop measurable therapy goals and objectives, documenting services in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with other clinical and administrative staff, adhering to industry ethical standards and practices.
• Administrative work includes client medical paperwork, attending team meetings and training, creating content to promote business operations and client intake, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Master's level degree or higher in a mental health-related field.
• 2+ years of experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to individuals across the lifespan, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Valid Washington state license (LMHC, LMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA, LPsy) and maintenance of professional licensure throughout employment
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or interest in developing skills in areas such as infidelity/betrayal trauma recovery, complex PTSD treatment, insecure attachment treatment, sex therapy, couples therapy, sexual health, and treatment of sex addiction/problematic sexual behaviors. Advanced training in an evidenced-based trauma therapy modality (ETT, EMDR, brainspotting, CPT).

Pay Rate: $55-$107 per clinical hour starting (rate dependent on license level and certifications) with additional pay for administrative time.
