Job summary

Universal Health Services in Savannah, GA is seeking a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to provide direct patient care in a hospital setting. You will support patients, document observations, and participate in safety and treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Emphasis on compassionate crisis intervention and patient-centered care. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years of age, and 1+ year of behavioral health experience where possible.

As a Mental Health Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting patients through some of the most critical moments. You'll provide attentive care and supervision, build meaningful, trust-based relationships, and actively contribute to each patient's treatment journey. From observing and documenting behaviors to stepping in with compassionate crisis intervention when needed, you'll be a vital part of a collaborative team dedicated to safety, healing, and positive outcomes.
