Job summary

WMH Alzheimer’s Support Group is seeking a mental health technician to support the Emergency Department under the RN in charge. You will be responsible for delivering patient care in the ED and ensuring adherence to nursing standards while promoting teamwork among staff.

The role requires genuine interest in the welfare of ill or mentally ill individuals, willingness to work under close supervision, and completion of specific orientation and ED training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of grammar school education, high school or equivalent desirable.
• Genuine interest in welfare of ill/ mentally ill.
• Willingness to work under close supervision.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
• Specific orientation and training for Emergency Department.
