Job summary

The Kahm Center for Eating Disorders in Vermont is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support patients in our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program. You will model healthy mealtime behaviors, guide daily activities, and provide essential encouragement to help patients heal.

Qualifications

• Experience in the mental health field is preferred.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of the clinical area.
• Bachelor's degree required; in psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized patient support and intervention per the treatment plan.
• Supervise and meal coach patients daily; assist with food preparation; collect vitals.
• Facilitate groups for 4–12 patients and maintain the daily group schedule.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team and assist with administrative tasks.
