Perimeter Healthcare in West Memphis, AR is seeking a Mental Health Technician (Youth Care Worker) to help create a safe, structured environment for young patients receiving behavioral health services. • Teach, model, and reinforce positive coping skills, communication, and appropriate social behaviors.

What You'll Do

As a Mental Health Technician, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for our patients.

Responsibilities Include

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic treatment environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other members of the treatment team.
• Participate in crisis intervention and therapeutic de-escalation when necessary.
• Safely perform physical interventions or restraints when required (paid training provided).

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, push, and pull as required to safely assist patients and perform crisis interventions
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others

Preferred

• One (1) year of experience in a behavioral health, psychiatric, residential treatment, hospital, assisted living, or healthcare setting
• Military Corpsman experience
• Education or work experience in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Nursing, Education, or related fields
