Valle Vista Health System in Greenwood, IN, seeks a Mental Health Technician for a full-time evening shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) on adolescent or RTC units. The role offers 40 hours weekly, full benefits, and potential overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities include direct resident care, safety supervision, assisting with hygiene and self-help skills, transporting residents to appointments, and supporting therapeutic activities under the ANA standards and facility policies.
This full-time opportunity at Valle Vista offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm schedule providing care on our adolescent or RTC units. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Mental Health Technicians provide direct care and supervision for residents, assure residents are kept safe, learn and practiceappropriate hygieneand self-help skills, and are aware of rules and expectations. Act as a role model for residents, demonstratingeffective problem solving and decision-making skills.Assistin providing recreational and therapeutic activities for the residents, transporting residents to and from medical appointments, and assuring scheduled programming is carried out. Perform duties as assignedin accordance withthe ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards. Mental Health Technicians report to the Unit Coordinator under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer.
Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree in psychologyor related field preferred.
Experience: Sixmonths to one year of experience working with a behavioral health in-patient population preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
