Job summary

The MHT may assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities, while maintaining a professional therapeutic relationship and aiding daily groups.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• One-year related experience preferred in psychiatric patient care.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification completed during orientation; de-escalation training within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care and supervision under a Registered Nurse.
• Record vital signs, collect data, and document findings accurately.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living as directed.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship and facilitate daily groups; support programming.
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations as needed.
