Adirondack Health is seeking a Mental Health Tech to join our multidisciplinary treatment team in the Town of Harrietstown, NY.

You will observe and record patient information related to the treatment plan, assist nurses with nursing care, and perform related tasks to support the nursing unit’s operation. Candidates should be capable of assisting patients physically, handling emergencies, and working as part of a clinical team. Strong interpersonal skills are valued.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year nursing assistant experience, preferred in behavioral units or geriatrics.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and record patient information relevant to the treatment plan.
• Assist nurse with nursing care and manage patient emergencies as part of the clinical team.

The Mental Health Tech is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan. Primary responsibilities include, observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan, assist nurse with nursing care to patients and perform related activities necessary to the general operation of the nursing unit. Must be capable of physically assisting patients, dealing with patient emergencies, and working as a member of a clinical team.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. One year nursing assistant experience, experience in behavioral units or geriatrics preferred. Strong interpersonal skills.
