Millwood Hospital is a 134-bed mental health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment. The primary function of the Mental Health Technician (MHT) is to ensure patient safety. The MHT is an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics, depending on the unit assigned. MHTs work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Shift Summary:
KIDS UNIT – Evenings (3 p‑11 p). Shifts may vary. Must attend full hospital and departmental orientations: Week 1: Monday‑Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Week 2: Monday–Tuesday 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
