Responsibilities

• Providing services to clients under the general supervision of nurses, physicians, psychiatrists or other qualified personnel.
• Performing tasks within scope of education and facility policies; following procedures.
• Functioning as a member of the interdisciplinary team and assisting with coordination of services including planning, monitoring, documenting and evaluating services.
• Making observations regarding clients’ physical conditions, behaviors and responses to treatment and reporting significant changes to supervisor and staff.
• Maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Utilizing behavioral techniques to prevent injury and create a safe, therapeutic environment; respond in crisis situations.
