Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis, TN seeks a Community Counselor/Mental Health Tech to provide direct patient care under supervision. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu, support crisis intervention, and deliver education to patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field (or a high school diploma with relevant experience) and prior direct patient care exposure; CPR training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred; or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• One year of work experience providing direct patient care with knowledge of direct patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness.
• CPR training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu.
• Conduct crisis intervention and support.
• Educate patients and families; assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patient treatment plans.
