Job summary

Unity Psychiatric Care, a division of American Health Partners Inc., seeks a Mental Health Technician in Memphis to provide direct patient care under nursing supervision and support daily living activities in a safe, therapeutic setting.

Requires a Certified Nurse Assistant, CPI and CMS Restraint/Seclusion training with yearly refreshers; CPR training provided yearly. Travel and flexible hours may be needed; 1–2 years in mental health/geriatric care preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care such as bathing, dressing, and walking

• Complete admission paperwork and patient orientation to the hospital
• Participate and assist with recreational activities for patients
• Participate and assist with therapeutic activities for patients
