Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System, a 140-bed hospital, offers inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. As a Mental Health Technician (MHT), you will work alongside licensed staff to provide compassionate, hands-on support addressing patients' physical, social, and behavioral needs throughout their treatment journey.

• Completes all required documentation in a clear, concise manner, showing understanding of patient goals and treatment plan.
• Responsive to patient specific factors and adapts to clinical intervention to fit individual patient need/goals.
• Maintains consistency throughout shift functions and through outgoing and oncoming shift report to ensure appropriate treatment is provided to each patient.
• Fosters and actively assists in maintaining unit's therapeutic milieu.

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms and other areas to create a pleasant atmosphere for patients and their families. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System's quality services are provided by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers. Also, care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day. Since 1986, Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has been a proven psychiatric care provider in mental health and substance use.

As a Mental Health Technician (MHT), you'll play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. Working alongside licensed clinical staff, you will provide compassionate, hands-on support that addresses the physical, social, and behavioral needs of each patient.
