Job Location: Heartland Youth Village - Bardstown, KY 40004

Title: Mental Health Technician

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00/hour

Positions: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, all shifts, weekends

Responsibilities

• Ensure youth are supervised (daily direct care) and provide a productive, safe environment for residents according to licensing and accreditation standards.
• Provide youth with leadership and lead groups.
• Be alert and respond therapeutically to aggressive behavior exhibited by residents.
• Monitor and manage youth in crisis situations by providing for safety and emotional needs using de-escalation techniques as trained.
• Complete all required documentation/incident reports timely and accurately.
• Attend all staff meetings and training.
