Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness, Mental Health III. The role is part-time/PRN with night shifts, serving the Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center.

The RN will deliver compassionate, standards-based nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support patient and family-centered care while adapting to fluctuating census and needs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nursing.
• Willingness to pursue BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Ohio RN license and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care according to ANA and Ohio Board standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family health.
• Deliver proficient nursing care based on comprehensive patient/family assessment.
• Foster a patient- and family-centered experience and act as change agent to meet census needs.
