Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in written and spoken English as required by policy.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid state license.
• Eligible for temporary appointment pending licensure if pursuing bridge program.
• Current full, active, and unrestricted nursing registration in the U.S.
• Ability to meet VA qualification standards and PMDB readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care integrating biopsychosocial concepts and clinical skills.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care across age groups.
• Coordinate patient education, self-management, and satisfaction.
• Administer medications and procedures per policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; MH-focused inpatient care.
