Job summary

MDH Worcester County Health Department seeks a full-time Mental Health Program leader with a Master’s in Social Work to supervise outpatient services and guide staff within the Behavioral Health unit.

The role requires current licensure as a Social Worker, willingness to travel to Worcester County sites, and occasional evenings or weekends. You will help establish standards, review case records for compliance, and help deliver high-quality patient care across all sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of clinical social work experience in a health care or treatment setting.
• U.S. Armed Forces service may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical leadership to outpatient Mental Health Program staff.
• Operate as part of the Behavioral Health Leadership Team and aid in leadership decisions.
