Job summary

National Counseling Group (NCG, an ncgCARE partner) is seeking qualified Mental Health Professionals to deliver Community-Based Services across Virginia. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and residency/tuition programs for full- and part-time staff, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Positions include Community-Based Intensive In-Home, Mental Health Skill Building, and crisis intervention/case management for clients who meet program criteria. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience with individuals diagnosed with mental illness across children, adolescents and adults.
• Bachelor's Degree in a mental health field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current QMHP registration from the Virginia DHP or state licensure as a CSW or Professional Counselor; able to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide Community-Based Intensive In-Home services.
• Deliver Mental Health Skill Building and crisis intervention/case management for eligible individuals.
• Travel to clients’ locations as required and ensure safety protocols for COVID-19 compliance.

We are seeking full-time and part-time Mental Health Professionals to provide the following services:

• Community-Based Intensive In-Home
• Mental Health Skill Building
• Crisis intervention and/or case management services to individuals who have been determined to meet the criteria for our behavioral health program.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience working with children/adolescents and adults who have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (or Master’s Degree -preferred) from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
• Current QMHP registration from the Virginia Department of Health Professions or state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or a Professional Counselor and able to successfully complete the required pre-employment screenings.
• Due to travel requirements must have valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
