Job summary

Evidence Based Associates, LLC is seeking full-time MST Clinicians/Therapists to deliver in-home, evidence-based mental health services to youth and families in the community. Clinicians provide services in participants' homes, serving youth at risk or with justice involvement, using MST models across treatment stages.

Responsibilities include caseload management, team supervision participation, and connecting families to necessary services.

Qualifications

We are hiring community-basedMST (Multisystemic Therapy) Clinicians/Therapists to provide mental health services in the community for youth and their families following the evidence-based model throughout the different stages of treatment.Services are provided in program participants' homes and are geared towards serving youth who are in need of intensive community-based intervention, are at risk or have a history of out-of-home placement, and/or have community justice involvement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload as assigned.
  • Actively participate as part of a therapy team, including attending weekly team and individual supervision meetings.
  • Assist families by actively referring them to appropriate services and supports, and with both clinical and concrete services.
  • Make case progress notes as required
  • Participate in all training, supervision, and consultation activities.
Preferred Experience
  • Direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic, and functional) family therapies
  • Individual therapy with youth and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
  • Marital therapy using behaviorally based approaches
  • *Behavioral therapy targeting school behavior and academic performance
  • Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth’s natural ecology that affect or influence the behavior of youth (i.e., family, peer, school, and neighborhood)

  • Family systems theory and application
  • Social-ecological theory and application
  • *Behavioral therapies theory and application
  • *Cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and application

  • Child development research and its application in the treatment

Candidates MUST be willing and able to:
  • Live locally, within 1 hour of the noted territory.
  • Provide therapy inside the family home as a regular part of the position.
  • Maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed, based on the availability of the youth and family.
  • Regularly travel throughout the full identified service territory to meet with families and provide services where needed.
Education Preference

Master’s in social work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling(MHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), psychology, counseling, education, or other relevant human service profession preferred; required for site supervisor position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families.

Salary range for this educational level is commensurate with credentials held andexperience.

Non-Licensed Therapist salary range: $51,993 - $57,534

Licensed Therapist salary range: $57,234 - $61,757
