Job summary

Evidence Based Associates seeks a full-time MST Clinician/Therapist in Gainesville, GA to deliver evidence-based mental health services to youth and families in their homes within the Hall County region. The role centers on multisystemic therapy (MST) and emphasizes collaboration with a therapy team, supervision, and family engagement.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in social work, psychology, or related field and have experience with youth and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s in social work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, psychology, counseling or related field required for site supervisor; others considered for clinician role.
• Experience working with youth and families; strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Engagement with families in home-based settings and community programs.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload as assigned.
• Participate in weekly supervision meetings.
• Refer families to appropriate services and supports.
• Prepare case progress notes as required.

Job description

Are you passionate about evidence-based therapeutic interventions? Does the idea of providing clinical care to children and families excite you? We have just the position for you!! We are seeking a full‑time clinician in Gainesville, GA! This position will support the Hall County region.

We are hiring community-based MST (Multisystemic Therapy) Clinicians/Therapists to provide mental health services in the community for area for youth and their families following the evidence-based model, throughout the different stages of treatment. Services are provided in program participants' homes and are geared towards serving youth who are in need of intensive community-based intervention, are at risk or have a history of out-of-home placement, and/or have community justice involvement. Job Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload as assigned.
• Actively participate as part of a therapy team, including attending weekly team and individual supervision meetings.
• Assist families by actively referring them to appropriate services and supports, and with both clinical and concrete services.
• Make case progress notes as required
• Participate in all training, supervision, and consultation activities.

Preferred Experience

• Direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic, and functional) family therapies
• Individual therapy with youth and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
• Marital therapy using behaviorally based approaches
• *Behavioral therapy targeting school behavior and academic performance
• Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth’s natural ecology thataffect or influence the behavior of youth (i.e., family, peer, school, and neighborhood)

Master’s in social work (MSW), Mental Health Counseling(MHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), psychology, counseling, education, or other relevant human service profession preferred; required for site supervisor position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and families.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families.

Salary range for this educational level iscommensurate with credentials held andexperience

Non-Licensed Therapist salary range: $51,993 - $57,534

Licensed Therapist salary range: $57,234 - $61,757
