Job summary

Parkridge Valley Acute Campus, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Mental Health Professional to provide supervised mental health services, assessments, psychoeducation, and therapy in both individual and group settings.

The role involves developing treatment plans, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safety, and conducting post-discharge follow-up to support patient readiness and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree is REQUIRED.
• Provisional Licensure may be REQUIRED – LPC-A/LMSW/ETC.
• BLS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Conducts one-on-one, group, and family psychoeducational and process groups.
• Develops treatment plans and attends treatment planning meetings.
• Assesses environment and patient safety status and reports changes.
• Identifies risk factors and interventions for patients with special precautions (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement).
• Completes assessments, group notes, and documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning needs.
• Conducts post-discharge follow-up as indicated.
