Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Network is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner for Birch Tree Center in Duluth. The role includes program development, assessment, documentation, and delivering clinical services under supervision. You will help clients build self-worth and engage them in meaningful activities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field with 2,000 hours of supervised experience.
• Fluency in a non-English language spoken by clients with 40 hours of mental health training and weekly supervision.
• At least 4,000 hours of supervised experience in mental health services.
• Graduate student in a behavioral science program with formal clinical training.
• Master’s or other graduate degree in a behavioral science related field from an accredited college or university.

• Serve as the main contact for assigned clients, including program development, assessment, and documentation.
• Deliver and document programming and clinical services under supervision of a mental health professional.
• Engage actively with clients to foster positive social interaction.
• Assist clients with healthcare needs and personal fund management.
• Maintain open communication with the team to promote teamwork and mutual support.
• Uphold policies, procedures, and philosophy of Thrive Behavioral Network.

What We’re Looking For:

To join our team, you need to meet at least one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field with 2,000 hours of supervised experience in mental health services; or
• Fluency in a non-English language spoken by at least 50% of your clients, with 40 hours of mental health training and a weekly clinical supervision until you have 2,000 hours of supervised experience; or
• At least 4,0000 hours of supervised experience in mental health services; or
• Currently a graduate student in a behavioral science program with formal clinical training assigned by an accredited institution; or
• Master’s or other graduate degree in a behavioral science related field from an accredited college or university.

Position Requirements

• Holds a bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to adults with mental illness; or
• is fluent in the non-English language of the ethnic group to which at least 50 percent of the practitioner's clients belong, completes 40 hours of training in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness, and receives clinical supervision from a mental health professional at least once a week until the requirement of 2,000 hours of supervised experience is met; or
• has at least 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to adults with mental illness

Rule 36 Limited Partnerships of Duluth first formed in 1992 and operated three group homes throughout Minnesota. Since then Rule 36 Limited Partnerships of Duluth has been renamed and rebranded to Thrive Behavioral Network, LLC and our company has grown, both in size and services. Today we operate 26 programs across the state and provide services for disabled individuals. We provide person-centered in-patient and out-patient care, as well as mobile crisis services.
