Job summary

Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) is actively seeking Mental Health Practitioners to provide ARMHS and CTSS services in clients’ homes across Dakota and Ramsey Counties. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules in a community-based program, with opportunities for clinical experience and potential internship collaboration.

Successful candidates will bring a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field, plus supervised experience of 2,000 hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and 2,000 hours supervised experience.
• Fluency in non-English language of the ethnic group served, with 30 hours of additional training.
• Practicum or internship requiring direct interaction with adults or children in behavioral sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide ARMHS and CTSS training in a community-based setting.
• Develop therapeutic relationships and teaching skills while supporting clients as they learn and practice skills.
• Establish personal recovery and rehabilitative goals with each client.
• Complete individualized documentation for each session.
• Coordinate services with the client’s team (therapist, case manager, family, guardians, primary care, school staff, etc.).

About the Position:

ACP is currently hiring part‑time or full‑time Mental Health Practitioners for Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) and Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) skills to clients within our Community‑Based Program. In this role, you’ll provide skills support to a wide variety of clients in an in‑home setting in Dakota and Ramsey Counties.

The ARMHS/CTSS role is a great opportunity to obtain clinical experience and explore internship opportunities while in a Master’s program.

Requirements:

There are a few ways you can qualify to apply for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field and 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with:
  • Mental illness, substance use disorder, Traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and completes 30 hours of additional training on mental illness, recovery and resiliency, mental health de‑escalation techniques, co‑occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects. Note: ACP can provide this if no documentation is provided from another agency.
  • Or is fluent in the non‑English language of the ethnic group to which at least 50 percent of the practitioner’s clients belong, and completes 30 hours of additional training on mental illness, recovery and resiliency, mental health de‑escalation techniques, co‑occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects.
  • Or has completed a practicum or internship that required direct interaction with adults or children served, and was focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; or Is working in a MHCP‑enrolled adult or children’s day treatment program.

• Timely, accurate submission of documents as required.
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance and willingness to travel within the Twin Cities metro area.

Starting Pay:

$24 - $27 hourly. Actual compensation may vary as determined by licensure, education, experience, skillset, FT/PT status, and schedule.
