Innovative Human Services in Duluth, MN is hiring a Mental Health Support Assistant. The role focuses on assisting residents with mental illness in short-term community homes, helping them practice independent living skills and navigate daily life in a supportive setting.

The position offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, with benefits including employer-matched 401k, medical and dental insurance, and no mandated overtime.

Formación

• Must have some experience with Mental Health.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a strong drive to help others and create positive relationships with persons served.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Residents with Mental Illness in Short Term Community Homes by practicing independent living skills.
• Assist with setting healthy social boundaries and budgeting.
• Attend medical appointments with residents and accompany them to groceries and meals.
• Assist with medication administration as needed.
• Support residents in choosing healthy friendships and relationships and identify areas of need.

Hiring Bonus: $500.00

After 50 shifts worked: $250

After completed medication training: $250

Assist Residents with Mental Illness in Short Term Community Homes by Practicing Independent Living Skills. Assist with Setting Healthy Social Boundaries, Budgeting, Attending Medical Appointments, Grocery Shopping, Picking Healthy Meals, Medication Administration, Picking Healthy Friendships/Relationships or Other Areas of Need.

Requirements:
