Job summary

UnitedHealth Group – Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under supervision. Location is Alma, MI, with coverage at Saginaw, Alma, West Branch and Stanton sites.

The role is full-time (35 hours/wk), Monday–Friday, with varied site hours. Qualified candidates hold Michigan license as a Pharmacy Technician; National certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Michigan.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to sites in the area for coverage needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform clerical duties and communicate professionally.
• Make deliveries when needed.
