Qualifications

• MSN degree required; BSN can be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• Active, current RN license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates learning and achievement of student outcomes.
• Apply diverse teaching strategies suited to learner needs and content.
• Help students develop as nurses and embody professional values.
• Assess and evaluate student learning in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Analyze assessment data to inform course improvements.
• Implement a curriculum with program student learning outcomes (PSLOs).
• Design and implement program assessments to improve quality.
• Participate in professional development to enhance faculty effectiveness.
• Maintain up-to-date nursing practice knowledge for student preparation.
• Uphold the college's mission and values: excellence, compassion, accountability, inclusivity.
• Fulfill other responsibilities as required by the state board of nursing.
