Highland Rivers Health in Alabama is seeking an RN or LPN to deliver direct nursing care in a mental health setting. Responsibilities include clinical assessments, labs, injections, and medication management training, all aligned with policy and procedure.

Qualificações

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license.
• Experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Ability to provide nursing assessments and administer injections.
• Strong communication and safety/infection control adherence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical nursing services including assessments, labs, injections, medications, and vital signs.
• Pay-for-Performance role requiring 40 hours of billable services per pay period.
• Coordinate treatment with medical staff and PCPs; advocate with other agencies as needed.
• Assist in crisis situations with professional judgement and intervention techniques.
• Educate individuals and their support network on medications, nutrition, health and wellness.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain professional boundaries and communicate effectively with consumers and families.
• Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines and complete related reports.
• Maintain Nursing Office: monitor expirations, temperature logs, and equipment calibration.
• Collaborate with physicians to provide exceptional services for individuals.
