Job summary

Mhrcflorida is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to conduct psychiatric assessments and enhance community-based recovery for adults with severe mental illness. Responsibilities include coordinating referrals and managing an assigned caseload, ensuring medication self-administration.

The role involves working in various settings and requires strong communication skills, a valid FL LPN license, and prior nursing experience. The position includes rotating weekends and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Six months of medical/surgical and/or psychiatric nursing experience required.
• Must meet MHRC/RBHS driver requirements including a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services in accordance with the FACT model.
• Conducts mental health status assessments.
• Serves as primary case manager for an assigned caseload.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to make sound, independent decisions

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to work in a variety of settings

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing

Valid Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
