Job summary

Professional Services Group, Inc. in Wisconsin is hiring a part-time Youth & Adult Support Specialist to provide individualized support to youth and adults under the CCS program.

You will help clients achieve goals through meetings, activities, crisis intervention, school support, and family collaboration. Position travels across Brown County with mileage reimbursement, with flexible hybrid/remote hours when not visiting clients.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
• Must have reliable transportation daily, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze youth capabilities and determine services to meet needs.
• Implement and review youth goals with team, youth, and families.
• Intervene as an advocate for youth in school, community, and crisis situations.
• Attend youth/family team meetings.

Job Summary

As the Youth & Adult Support Specialist, you will provide individual skill development and support to both youth and adult clients referred through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Program. You'll help clients achieve their individualized goals by assisting them in their journey toward success. Our program is all about making a difference in the lives of our clients and their families. We offer a range of services, including individual meetings, fun recreational activities that build social skills, crisis intervention, school support, and parent contact.

Key Responsibilities Of The Youth/Adult Support Specialist

• Analyze youth capabilities, strengths and problems to determine the services required to meet the unique needs of youth.
• Implement, evaluate and review youth goals in collaboration with team members, youth and their families.
• Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for youth in school, the community and during emergency and crisis situations.
• Attend youth/family team meetings.
• Organize and facilitate individual meetings and structured recreational activities that assist youth in developing pro-social skills and connections.
• Safely transport clients as needed.

LOCATION:

Position will travel throughout Brown County area to meet with clients within the home or other community spaces, with mileage reimbursement. Flexibility is available for some hybrid/WFH hours when client visits are not scheduled, for documentation.

SCHEDULE:

Part-time leading to full-time. Hours are varied, typically during business hours Monday-Friday between 9:00am and 6:00pm, with occasional weekends.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with at-risk youth and families is preferred.
