Mental Health First Aid Instructor – On Call
Deliver the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) curriculum to participants consistent with best practices and coordinate training logistics, including training materials and registration.
This grant‑funded position is part of the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology. The HOPE grant, a five‑year (2022‑2027) federal grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA), focuses on providing MHFA training to a large audience so they can recognize the signs and symptoms of mental illness and identify community resources. The trainer will coordinate and deliver the training programs to target populations consistent with best practice.
