A Mental Health Counselor is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. As a Mental Health Counselor,you will maintain a safe therapeutic milieu on inpatient psychiatric units. You will also conduct safety checks, monitor patients, assist with ADL's, de-escalate acute situations, and provide supportive interactions with patients.
