Job summary

Dungarvin inc is seeking a Mental Health Coordinator II (MHC II) to lead coordination and direct support in a residential setting for individuals with behavioral and mental health needs. You will work with supervisors, staff, and support teams to ensure consistent, person-centered services.

You will help coordinate finances, activities, and healthcare, manage staff schedules, and implement treatment plans while maintaining professional relationships with individuals served and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience delivering behavioral health services.
• Basic computer skills required.
• At least one year of lead staff experience in residential services or demonstrated leadership.
• Experience supporting individuals with significant mental health symptoms, including aggression or cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services including finances, activities, program services, behavioral supports, family involvement, education/vocational services, healthcare, nutrition, and household management.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, individual care, and communication with staff.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Implement and support behavior support plans, treatment plans, functional assessments, individualized support plans, and person-centered plans.
• Provide direct care and fulfill Behavioral Support Staff responsibilities during all direct care shifts.
• Use de-escalation, crisis intervention, and positive support techniques when working with individuals who have complex needs.
• Travel and provide support to programs within a designated region, as assigned by the Director.
