Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family in Minnesota, is hiring caregivers. You will support individuals with daily living, personal care, and participation in community activities, earning $18.73 per hour with full benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications include six months in human services, valid driver’s license, and strong communication, patience, and reliability. This is a mission-driven role with growth opportunities within Sevita’s community-based programs.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care or care coordination preferred.
• High school diploma not required.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate and reliable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care and behavior support as needed.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors to ensure participant wellbeing.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in care delivery.
