Job summary

The Illinois Department of Corrections seeks a Mental Health Auditor and Trainer for its Northern Region to compile and analyze mental health data, conduct staff training, and coordinate quality improvement services across facilities.

This position serves as a liaison between Health Services, clinical operations, and mental health contractors, while maintaining records of corrective actions and employee compliance.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology or Master's degree with substantial psychology experience.
• Active licensure as Clinical Psychologist by Illinois DPR.
• Preferred: extensive experience in preparing complex written and oral reports.
• Preferred: psychology applications to mental health disorders and adult rehabilitation.
• Preferred: training staff in psychological principles and practices.
