Job summary

Linn County Department of Health Services in Albany, Oregon seeks a Mental Health Associate 1 for the ACT Team. This full-time, on-site position requires QMHA-eligible credentials, strong communication, and the ability to work with individuals with severe mental illness in community and home settings.

You will provide case management, facilitate groups, offer skills training, document in EMR, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Alternatively, four years of progressive mental health service experience.
• Eligible for QMHA-R or QMHA I within 30 days of employment.
• Must pass criminal history check and meet driving record requirements.
• Must be credentialed to bill Medicaid insurances.
• Non-supervisory role; may train new staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management in the community and client homes.
• Facilitate groups and provide skills training.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team; ensure timely documentation.
• Maintain EMR records and treatment goals.
• Occasional evening and weekend work; travel between sites.
