We have an exciting opening for a Residential Associate or Personal Care Associate. These positions work as members of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness. Primary responsibilities include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping and meal preparation, administering medication, and keeping accurate clinical documentation. If you have experience as a QMHA, DSP, Residential Assistant, Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client with behavioral health needs, this position may be a great fit.
Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (Full Time, Day)
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% language differential for bilingual or multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

Coos Crisis Resolution Center (est. 2003) is a 6-bed, licensed, short-term Residential Treatment Facility providing crisis resolution services and an alternative to emergency, short-term psychiatric hospitalization for those patients whose illness allows them to be treated in a residential setting. The program is located in a residential neighborhood and is near Bay Area Hospital and other community services. It offers a home-like and therapeutic environment with multiple common areas.

Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration. Eligibility requires one of the following:
If not already registered as a QMHA through MHACBO, we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.
Vocational Training Program: Optional program to accelerate QMHA testing; includes additional training expectations to meet QMHA requirements.
Driving is an essential function of this position. Applicants must provide a valid driver’s license within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds. May include occasional ladder use, squat/kneel, and other tasks. Crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings are required. Reasonable accommodations available.
