Job summary

Anew Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed therapist to provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy in an outpatient setting. You will develop individualized treatment plans and address behavioral health and SUD needs for diverse clients.

The role involves conducting individual, group, and family sessions, documenting progress, and collaborating with case managers and referral sources to ensure comprehensive care. Telehealth and community-based services are available.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a license to practice in Ohio.
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree may be accepted with additional licensure and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize specialized clinical knowledge and advanced counseling skills to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform diagnostic interviews for behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) clients.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family-oriented therapy sessions to address client needs and promote recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered, client progress, and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, their families, case managers, and referral sources to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique circumstances and goals.
  • Participate in regular care conferences and case reviews to enhance treatment effectiveness and client engagement.
  • Attend Supervision as required.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, federal, and state confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations.
Supervision Given:

This position does not supervise any staff.

Supervision Received:

The therapist will report to the Operations Manager

Qualifications :
  • Must be licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
  • NPI number and Ohio Medicaid ID are preferred and required to start work.
Education :
  • A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Bachelors may be accepted with additional licensure and experience
Certification :
  • Current licensure or provisional licensure in the state services are rendered.
Experience :
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly in behavioral health and SUD counseling, is preferred.
Physical Effort :
  • Primarily requires sitting while conducting therapy sessions, with occasional movement within the office or community setting.
