Qualifications

• Formal training in tailoring preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred.
• Strong technical skill and sound knowledge of various types of sewing equipment.
• Strong communication skills, team attitude and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men’s tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive input during the customer experience.
• Assist in the selling process by greeting and interacting with customers.
• Expertly mark, alter, and press garments selected by customers.
• Ensure proper fit of garments and maintain communication with management.
• Help keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Offer wardrobe ensemble suggestions.
• Help ensure customers are properly sized.
