Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. operates Men's Wearhouse and seeks a Retail Store Tailor-Alterations team member in Murray, UT. You will assist customers, mark, alter, and press garments to ensure the best fit and appearance. You will maintain garment quality, answer questions, and help size customers while upholding company standards and brand values daily.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training or apprenticeship completed.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear preferred.
• Good technical skill with sewing and alterations.
• Familiarity with sewing equipment and proper use.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Team attitude and enthusiasm for helping others.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers during the selling process and address special requests.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to ensure proper fit and look.
• Ensure garments fit correctly and answer customer questions.
• Mark garments for tailoring and press finished pieces.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and teammates.
• Help other team members and keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Assist customers with sizing and suggest wardrobe ensembles.
• Contribute to a positive, customer-first shopping experience.
• Support across multiple store locations as needed.
• Uphold company standards and brand values in daily tasks.
