Job summary

URBN is seeking an Associate Designer to join our Men’s Design Team. This role supports the full design process from concept through fittings and seasonal presentations, partnering with Buying, Product Development, and Print + Color to drive seasonal vision.

The ideal candidate brings deep trend knowledge, strong sketching and CAD skills (Adobe XD), and the ability to balance creativity with business needs, timelines, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, customer behavior, and brand vision.
• Ability to balance creativity with business acumen, margin parameters, and process efficiencies.
• Strong hand and digital sketching ability.
• Experience with set-ups and fittings.
• Proficient in Adobe suite and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with AI tools for creative/presentation purposes.

Responsibilities

• Sets up spec sheets and communicates fit details to Technical Design.
• Assists in creating seasonal assortment and presentation materials.
• Provides feedback and approves samples and design submissions.
• Prepares materials for seasonal benchmark meetings such as SketchReview and Print + Color day.
• Executes accurate fabric, trim, and wash information in design packs.
