Job summary

Salve Regina University in Newport, RI seeks a Head Coach for Men’s Soccer to lead all aspects of the program, including coaching, recruiting, scouting and teaching game strategies under the Director of Athletics.

The candidate will mentor student‑athletes, ensure NCAA/DIII compliance, assist with fundraising and alumni relations, coordinate practices and travel, and promote a diverse, inclusive environment in line with Salve Regina's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to promote and foster an environment inclusive of diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III, NEWMAC, and Salve Regina policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach, coach, and mentor student-athletes under the Head Coach, Men's Soccer direction.
• Assist the Head Coach, Men's Soccer in scouting, recruiting, and retention processes.
• Coaching responsibilities in practice and meets as determined by the Head Coach, Men's Soccer.
• Assist with fundraising and Alumni relations responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA/NEWMAC/Salve Regina University rules and regulations.
