Job summary

Prison Fellowship seeks a driven and mission-focused Academy Program Manager to lead day-to-day operations inside the Mississippi State Penitentiary for men in Parchman, MS. The role requires overseeing classroom curricula, case planning, and participant development within the prison environment.

The position emphasizes recruiting participants and volunteers, coordinating with correctional staff to meet policy requirements, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure program

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management experience.
• 3+ years of leading high-performing teams.
• Experience in classroom instruction, facilitation, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom-based curriculum using transformational teaching methods and provide case planning and case management support for program participants within the correctional facility.
• Recruit, interview, and select program participants and volunteers to foster a positive, supportive environment.
• Maintain communication with correctional facility staff to ensure compliance with Department of Corrections policies.
• Partner with wardens and correctional staff to identify, approve, and coordinate special program needs and activities.
